OBJECTIVE

This years conference builds on the success of our conferences in 2023 and 2024. This year’s conference was organised by the co chairs from the HSE Patient and Service User Forum in partnership with the HSE Partnership Office and supported by the agenda sub committee. As in previous years will aim to:

  • PROMOTE PARTNERSHIP: Strengthen the partnership community, both inside and outside our HSE, offering a chance for this community to network and meet key personnel involved in partnership efforts within the HSE national and regional structures.

  • SHARE BEST PRACTICE: Facilitate the sharing of best practice and lessons learnt around existing partnerships in key strategic areas (health regions, innovation and digital health, culture and communication) through collaborative discussion and workshops.

  • IDENTIFY CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES: Identify and address challenges and opportunities to support additional partnerships, including cultural barriers, resource allocation, workforce and community capacity, policy framework etc.

  • MOBILISE FOR CHANGE: Serve as a catalyst for future change across our HSE, Department of Health, and beyond, embedding partnership as a shared approach to the future design, delivery, and decision-making around care.
